Genesis (Part 1) Bible Study & Leader's Guide$15 $7.97 -47% Save $7.03
Have you ever wondered if you've wandered too far, or made too big a mess, for God to still want you? Genesis begins with a God who forms us on purpose and comes looking for us when we hide.
This study takes you through Genesis 1–11, from the first light of creation to the scattering at Babel. You'll discover:
- In the beginning, God: the One who brings order out of the empty, chaotic places
- Formed, filled, and made for meaning: why your worth was breathed in, not earned
- When the world cracked: fig leaves, "Where are you?", and the first covering God provided
- Anger at the altar: Cain, comparison, and the sin "crouching at the door"
- A flood, a rainbow, and a tower: grace that reaches Noah, and a God who is never finished with us
Included:
- An easy-to-follow word study on two Hebrew words, "image" (selem) and "favor" or "grace" (ḥēn)
- 6 group discussion questions and 6 personal journal prompts
- A complete 60-minute Leader's Guide with a timed session flow, two timestamped podcast audio clips, deeper theology, everyday examples for both men and women, and a suggested closing prayer
This is the companion to Episode 161 of the Living on Purpose In Christ podcast with Pastor Paula. It works well for small groups, women's or men's ministries, or personal devotion.
