Let’s talk about the importance of cultivating a healthy mindset. Given the challenges of the past few years, it's crucial to address this topic head-on. "Just like ants at a picnic, negative thoughts can invade your mind." In his groundbreaking book, Change Your Brain Change Your Life, Dr. Daniel G Amen introduces the concept of Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs). 

The River Nile is the longest river in the world, snaking some 4,160 miles from Burundi, Africa, to the Mediterranean Sea. And in this beautiful, exotic, life-giving river lives one of the most fearsome creatures in the world, the Nile crocodile. Twelve species of this strong, ferocious creature watch from the shores ready to spring and devour an unsuspecting animal or human being, hardly a place to hide a child, a beautiful child.

ARE ESSENTIAL OILS BIBLICAL? I wanted to address a question I get fairly often today as a pastor, and that is: Are essential oils biblical? To answer that question, I will use a couple of references. One, of course is the Bible and the other is a book by an amazing man, David Stewart, PHD, titled: Healing Oils of the Bible. And his book, if you haven’t read it, can be easily found on Amazon and/or other bookstores.

My pegboard adventure began when I felt the need to store my many cones of knitting yarn in a tiny crafting space. Out of pure necessity, I came up with the idea of using my wall space for this task. LIGHT-BULB moment > Pegboard... pegboard would be the perfect answer. But, I had no idea of how I was going to be able to install it without a helper.

In the Christian church, the clergy stole is a symbol of ordination and the colors normally follow the Christian year. 

Hey, it's not easy downsizing your sewing, crafting, knitting area from a huge space to a teeny tiny room, that you thought at first was a walk-in closet... but it can be done. With a little determination and thoughtful planning, it can be done.
